Jeff’s Liquor Review Recap:
Today I decided instead of doing a review, I would do a recap of some of the stand out bottles that we have reviewed over the years. Currently, we’ve reviewed 188 different liquors on this site, so I need to make things simple, I will only go over some of the best Rums, Vodkas, Whiskeys and Tequilas. I also will not be mentioning some of the big names that we all know and love, this is primarily a list of some of the not so well known liquors that we have ended up partying with more than a few times.
The first category will be Rum, my favorite spirit when we first started the site. Even though my tastes have changed over the years, here is a few rums that should not be missed.
Guy Harvey: This is a very unique rum that really has a lot of flavors that are not in your average bottle of rum.
Guy Harvey Caribbean Spiced Rum
Red Cup: By far our favorite budget rum, we lovingly refer to this bottle as beer pong rum. It’s very cheap and very drinkable.

Vodka was what started me on my path of being a drunk and also almost ruined me on alcohol forever when I was younger. I have slowly started enjoying vodka again and here are a few that I really enjoy.
Tito’s: Tito’s isn’t exactly a secret anymore. This has become a lot of people’s favorite, and it’s the only vodka that we pick up anymore, unless we are doing reviews.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka
Zubrowka Bison Grass: This is not your everyday vodka but if you want to treat yourself to something special, try this. The grass has a natural earthy cinnamon flavor.

UV Candy Bar: This is not a very versatile bottle but it has been our go to for shots for a long time. It taste like a liquid Snickers candy bar.

Whiskey and I are on a little break right now, but there are a few that no matter what mood I’m in, they always hit the spot.
Wiser’s 18: This is hands down my favorite thing to sip on, it seems to get better every time I have it. It’s rich and full of flavors, but is never overpowering.
Makers 46: Maker’s Mark is good, but Makers 46 is better, it’s a little stronger and has a lot more going on than the classic.
Maker’s Mark 46
Jeremiah Weed: It’s a bit on the sweet side, but it’s a nice change of pace. Get the 100 proof, splash some coke on it and enjoy.

Tequila is my new addiction and my go to when nothing else sounds good. My favorite bottle has changed a few times in the last year but here are some of my top choices.
Corralejo: This is the only tequila that I can sip on, it doesn’t matter if it’s the Blanco, Reposado, or Anejo they are all great. Just add ice and some orange slices, amazing.

Corralejo Blanco Tequila
Hornitos Black Barrel: We found this when Tony’s favorite Cuervo Black was cancelled. This a rich tequila with a whisky barrel char kick to it.
Hornitos Black Barrel
Milagro: This is a clean crisp tequila, the taste is very subtle but that makes this great for mixing and doing shots with all night.
I know this isn’t as good as a real review, but the intentions of this website is to get some of my fellow drunks to stop walking to the same bottle at the liquor store every Friday after work. Next time you go to the store try some of these alternatives, and I’m sure you won’t regret it. Also stay tuned for some more contests in the near future, we will start getting some New Liquor Friday apparel made for the winners.
